23 weeks

Another week closer to being able to enter the world and meet everyone. I am continuing to practice my kicking skills, and have started to react to sounds from the outside world. I really didn't like Mommy going to the dentist on Monday. That suction thingy was a little scary for me. I got really excited when Daddy was talking to me and gave me a kiss, so I kicked him in the nose. Mommy was laughing. I was just letting him know that I could hear him.
This past weekend Mommy and Daddy got together with some of Mommy's family. I can't wait to meet them all in person!
Mommy and Daddy have been really busy this week. They are getting ready to go to Philadelphia. Mommy is going to a conference and Daddy is coming along for the weekend. They told me they are going to go to a tour of the city. I hope that they will take me when I am older. Next time Mommy will have to tell you all about my first train trip.
Love always,
Gideon

My first blog

Hey there everyone. This is my first blog. My Mommy set up this site for me so that I can share everything going on with me. i am going to try to update this weekly so that you'll know what is going on with me. Mommy's friend Mrs. Jennifer has a site all about her baby Josiah. I think we are going to be good friends.
I'm really showing Mommy how much I can kick. We went to see Uncle Paul sing last weekend and I was kicking during most of the show. My favorite time to kick is at night. I wake Mommy up early in the morning between 5-6am. Since I can't tell light from dark yet, Mommy says that she'll have a hard time teaching me that this is really early in the morning.
Today Mommy and I are at 22 weeks. We are over the half way mark! I have been really giving my Mommy a run for her money over the last 22 weeks. I still think that it is funny to make my Mommy sick. Every time she thinks it's better, I show her who's really boss. I don't like to woken up. One day Daddy was trying to talk to me, and I was sleeping, I got really mad and made Mommy sick. They had to wake me up during my nap time at the ultrasound a few weeks ago. I tried to let them know that I didn't want to be bothered and put my hands in front of my face. I also didn't really want to show them I was a boy, but I finally cooperated.
Well I think that I might go take a nap now.
Love always,
Gideon (and Heather & Jon too)
