I'm 3 weeks old now. Mommy can't believe how fast I am growing up and changing every day. This week was Daddy's first full week back to work. I stayed home with Mommy and Holly during the day, and then Daddy would spend some special time with me at night.
Mommy's friend Corey came to visit me this week. The grown-ups ate dinner together and talked. I like having visitors.
I am already awake more during the day. I like to look around and watch lights. Mommy makes sure I have tummy time and have started playing with my cool gyms this week. I also have started to watch my toys on my swing.
Mommy and Daddy took me to the bone doctor last week. He was very nice, and he gave me exercises that Mommy and Daddy help me with to stretch my feet. I go back to see him in 3 weeks so that he can see my progress. They are going to do an ultrasound of my hips because Mommy was born with hip problems. The doctor will also see if I need them to take pictures of the bones in my feet.
This weekend I got to meet my Uncle Mike, Aunt Cindy, and cousins Susie and Michael. Michael and I are going to have so much fun together when I get a little bit older. We are going to play with stuff like Spiderman, trains, and the Incredibles, not like the princess stuff that our girl cousins like.
I also got to meet Mrs. Karen on Saturday. She was one of Mommy and Daddy's teachers when they were in school, and she is friends with Bubbie and Pop-pop as well. She brought Bubbie over, then she had to go home because she was tired. I will get to see her more soon. Then on Sunday Pop-pop came over to visit. I liked spending the day with Bubbie and Pop-pop.
I think I'm going to go hang out in my swing while I wait for Daddy to get home from work.
Love always,
Gideon

Gideon,
I am visiting your great-grandma. She has been very busy with physical therapy and occupational therapy. She even has her own private recreation therapist (me). We all work her very hard. She doesn't complain, though, because she wants to get out of the health center so she can come visit you in November when your uncle Paul sings. I am going to see if there is a computer around so she can catch up with your blogs.
When you are doing your exercises, just remember Great-grandma is doing hers too!
I can't wait to meet you over Christmas.
Love,
Aunt Kitty
Hey Gideon and Heather. We want to do lunch this week?! Can we do Friday?
Dear Gideon, Our best to your Mom & Dad, too) We enjoyed catching up with your blogs here at Friendship Village. Thanks to Kitty for doing all the pursuing of how to do this on Friendship's computer.
One Dr's visit today and another next week. So far all is progressing nicely.
We'll keep you posted as things develop.
We hope things keep on improving for you too.
Love, Great Gramma & Grandpa
