My room

Last weekend was very exciting for Mommy and Daddy. I got Mommy and Daddy up very early on Saturday morning. They cleaned and organized the garage, and then started working on the basement. Daddy says that Mommy is doing something called "nesting" I think it sounds silly. Then they started working on my crib. Mommy and Daddy were getting frustrated. So, Pop-Pop and Bubbie came over for dinner and Pop-Pop and Daddy finished putting my crib together. They then moved the rest of the furniture into the room and put my hutch together. Mommy was so excited she couldn't wait to start organizing the room. I told Mommy that she'd better get some sleep. So, on Sunday she worked on getting the room organized. She has most of my clothes clean and is working on getting everything put away in the drawers. Daddy wants to get me a nice wooden bookshelf for my room. I have a white one, but Daddy thinks a wooden one would look nicer. Mrs. Susie (Mommy's friend, not my cousin) is going to recover my chair for my room. I am so excited. My Gramma is making a valence for my window, a diaper stacker, and boppy covers. They are all going to match my room. I am so lucky to have so many people that love me already.
On Monday Mommy had to drink some really sweet stuff. It really woke me up and I was kicking up a storm. Mommy was very happy to see that the test went well and we don't have to worry about gestational diabetes.
Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy had dinner with Uncle Paul and his girlfriend Brittany. Uncle Paul is going to teach me all about playing video games. I bet he'll even let me play with the Wii, but maybe by the time I'm big enough to play there will be an ever newer system.
Today Bubbie and Mrs. Karen had lunch with Mommy and Daddy and dropped off Mac and Clover. Holly is helping to take care of them while Bubbie and Pop-Pop go on vacation.
The summer is flying by and I'll be here before you know it. Mommy thinks that I'll be born in the summer. If I'm on time it will still be summer, if I'm late (which Mommy really hopes I'm not) it could be fall.

Love always,
Gideon
