Philadelphia!

This week Mommy took me to Philadelphia to the annual Physician Assistant conference. Mommy got to see some of her old friends, classmates, professors, and preceptors. Daddy was with us over the weekend, but he had to go back to work on Tuesday. Mommy went and learned all kinds of stuff that will help her with work. I made sure she was paying attention by kicking, wiggling and elbowing her. I had fun playing with Daddy, he would tap on Mommy's tummy and I would kick back. I also kicked when Daddy was humming to me and when Mommy put the phone on her tummy so Daddy could talk to me. Daddy can't wail until I am bigger and he can bring me back to Philadelphia, so he can show me everything that he saw on the trip. Did you know my Bubbie was born in Philadelphia? That must be why I really liked when Mommy ate her Philly cheesesteak (at least the first one she had.) I really liked the train ride. It was really calm and rocked me to sleep. I like to sleep. Mommy hopes that I continue to work on the routine of being asleep at night and awake during the day with naps. I did pretty well when she was at the conference and then went back to my old ways once Mommy got back to work.
This week my ears are fully developed. Daddy says that he hopes I have Mommy's hearing, not his. Mommy and Daddy like to sing to me. They hope that I'll like singing too.
Well Mommy says that she is getting sleepy. I woke her up at 4:30am and wouldn't let her go back to bed. I am really good at getting my way already:)
Love always,
Gideon

Gideon,
It was fun reading about your Philadelphia adventure. Today Great-grandma, Great-grandpa, Great-uncle Les and I went to see your cousins Sean, Kristin, and Julia. They had an open house for their new insurance agency - complete with music and hot dogs. Cousin Julia liked to run around and sit on the bandstand steps!
Did you know that cousin Julia is going to be a big sister in December. You won't be the youngest in the family for long!

Love,
Great-aunt Kitty
